We had a brilliant day at school and raised lots of money for Comic Relief. We worked together as a team and learnt the red nose day rap. Click here to see what the Wakefield Express had to say.

We had a live interview with BBC Radio Leeds to explain our plans for the day. Click on the link to listen to the interview.

We were also very lucky to have a visit from BBC Look North. Click here to see the story. They loved our Red Nose Day rap and it will be on television on Friday 24th March at 6.30pm. We are all very proud of oursleves and not only loved working together as a whole school team but feel as though we have made a real difference and raised lots of money for a brilliant charity. Thanks to everyone for their help to make today such a success!!!

Well done to Magda In Year 3 who made a beautiful red bow and auctioned it in school. She made £35 which will be sent off to Comic Relief. Below is the picture of Brooke who won the bow!

Thank you to all parents and carers who helped the children to create their ‘wild and wacky’ RED NOSE DAY outfits. They all looked amazing.
It was a real treat to watch the children perform their ‘Red Nose Rap’ on BBC Look North.
Well done Millie (year 5) and the rest of the School Council for organising such a great day.
